What is Calendar that Cares?

This isn’t just any calendar! The calendar depicts touching scenes that are near and dear to the hearts of most people. Each calendar purchase raises money for the participating charity. But, the best part is, the calendars also offer the purchaser a twice-daily entry into a contest for cash prizes for the entire calendar year.

How does the contest work?

When you purchase a calendar, you are automatically entered into a twice-daily contest to win cash prizes ranging from $25.00 to $250.00. You will pick a 4-digit Lucky Number for each calendar purchase, which will be assigned to you for the duration of the calendar year of the contest . The State of Florida draws a 4-digit lottery number twice daily. Whenever that number exactly matches your Lucky Number, you will automatically receive that day’s Calendar that Cares contest cash prize.

Who is responsible for the contest prize payouts?

Calendar that Cares is a subsidiary of Fund Razors Inc., a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation dedicated to helping charities raise money for their own non-profit charitable organization. Fund Razors Inc. is responsible for monitoring winning numbers and will automatically send a check for each prize to the winners.

Eighty percent of the funds collected are distributed to the benefiting charity. The remaining funds are allocated as follows: 04% Fund Razors Inc., 02% printing and advertising, and 14% to the contest prize pool.

Is lottery style fundraising legal in Florida?

The Calendar that Cares contest has been reviewed by a legal representative of the Florida Lottery and a Florida law firm to ensure that all state laws and regulations have been followed.
